True Meaning of Christmas Blog #3It looks like Pastor Moses can’t be SAVED from unwanted input on this true meaning of Christmas blog post! After departing from his so called secret office, he stopped by his favorite restaurant’s drive thru for brunch only to be given a mouthful at the drive thru window by Mrs. Jackie. He received a lecture from Mr. And Mrs. Sue on the topic while at Manna’s Ville Dry Cleaners picking up his robe. And finally; returning back to the church office he received a call from Pastor Simon putting his input on the subject! Poor Pastor Moses, I guess there’s no place for him to hide in the Town of Manna’s Ville. Perhaps next time, he’ll disguise himself as someone else to keep people from recognizing him. We’ll have to see . . . .  Mr. & Mrs. Sue believe that Jesus SAVED us from permanent brokenness.  Mrs. Jackie believes that Jesus SAVED us by dying on the cross and forgiving our sins. True Meaning of Christmas Blog #2Pastor Moses will agree that Howard the Sheep and Mrs. Wyde gave some great tips on the true meaning of Christmas. However; he’s not taking the chance in any further interruptions whethertheir tips are helpful or not! After packing his bag, he left the office and turned off the light. He was careful not to make his exit through the front door, so he departed out the far back door near the dumpster. Confident that there would be no unwanted company by the trash can, he was surprisingly greeted by Manna’s Ville homeless friends Alberto and Augustus eating breakfast beside the dumpster. Poor Moses, can anybody SAVE him from this madness! They had this to say on the topic . . . . .  Alberto and Augustus believe that Jesus SAVED us from never reaching our full potential! True Meaning of Christmas Blog #1Today’s topic on the true meaning of Christmas has got the whole town of Manna’s Ville talking. Some of the local town folk are interested in giving their own point-of-view of what Christmas is. People can hardly get through the door of Pastor Moses office to put their comments into the message. Luckily for him, he decided to SAVE himself and avoid all interruptions by writing this blog post at another location. But some people are on to him, and discovered his secret hide out. So far only two unwelcomed visitors have made a visit. A clever sheep named Howard pretending to be a pizza delivery guy, and Mrs. Wyde who noticed his vehicle parked on the side of the building. Minty Fresh #3 Ensuring he could savor each delicious bite of his cupcake undisturbed, Pastor Simon walked the long route to the church’s office this morning. And what a special day of Blessings it was, Pastor Simon leisurely strolled down the street like he was walking on the clouds. This day could not have gone any better for him. And regarding any bad news he may face today, his faith in God will see him through with a little Blessing.  Vanilla #5: God’s love for us is a blessing.  Salt #6: We have the favor of God, and that is a true blessing.  Butter #7: Jesus dying on the cross is a blessing of God’s divine love for us. Minty Fresh #2 The sweet minty chocolate aroma was enough to encourage anyone to enter the bakery. But to Pastor Simon the sweet scent came second to its delicious taste. Delighted to discover that his favorite cupcake was the flavor of the day, he hurried to grab his wallet and requested two to-go. While digging for change in his pocket, the cashier placed the containers on the counter with a “paid” sticker on each, and stated “It’s on the house”. Pastor Simon was truly taken off guard by this, he had never been the “Customer of The Day”! He gladly thanked the cashier and took his cupcakes. But before he left, he Blessed the customer behind him and gave her one of his deliciously sweet treats!  Chocolate #3: The gift of knowledge is a blessing from God. Today’s special cupcake is mint chocolate, placed on display for eager customers to enjoy. And the usual morning rush of customers anticipate a chance of becoming the “First Customer of The Day”. Receiving the daily delicious treat free of charge. And casually strolling in without a care in the world is Pastor Simon. Picking up something for breakfast at the bakery is a daily routine for him. However; he had no idea how much of a Blessing this morning would become. Because Pastor Simon was surprisingly the highly desirable “First Customer of The Day”. No Trick or Treats #3 Unknown to those pesky Desert Band-it’s, there is a secret entrance way into the candy shop. Agents Jigsaw and Dollface enter the candy store unannounced and pounced on the Desert Band-it’s while their backs were turned. Once captured, they bargained for their freedom. Agents Jigsaw and Dollface agreed to set them free only if they returned all of the candy, soda and chips they loaded into their get-a-way car. After all the tasty snacks were returned, the Agents escorted the Desert Band-it’s out of the Town of Manna’s Ville. And what a relief it is! The town of Manna’s Ville is safe again, thanks to the Courage and Godly wisdom of secret Agents Dollface and Jigsaw.  Ribbon #5: True courage is standing up for yourself even if you are afraid.  Excel #6: True courage is in the heart, not just in physical strength.  Champion #7: True courage is when you have faith in God that He will see you through to the finish line. No Trick or Treats #2Leaving the scene of the crime with all the sugary sweets they can handle, the Desert Band-its pack their get-a-way car full of every treat from Mega Manna Candy Shop. Agent Dollface and Jigsaw arrive at the scene being careful not to give away their presence. However; they were spotted from a distance and the band-it’s locked themselves inside the candy shop for protection. What are Agent Dollface and Agent Jigsaw going to do now? One thing is for sure, it’s going to take a lot of courage and a good plan to see this through.  Succeed #3: Victory is not always polished and clean, it can be difficult, painful and tearful. No Trick or Treats #1 Those dreadful Desert Band-it’s are back! Up to no good with their schemes on disturbing the peace in the Town of Manna’s Ville. It looks like their plans of mischief is starting in the town’s candy store “Mega Manna Candy Shop”. They’re replacing all of the bubble gum flavors with cough drops, they’re refilling the soda machines with mouth wash and they’re removing the chips off the shelves and replacing them with whole potatoes! What are the people in the Town of Manna’s Ville going to do, Pastor Moses is so stressed out! They’re going to need some courage to stand up and stop these Desert Band-it’s in their tracks. Luckily Agent Dollface and Agent Jigsaw have the courage and Godly wisdom for the job. These silly life lessons are about Courage, read below a couple of nuggets to help you through your day:  Winner #1: It can be hard to face our fears, but it is better to face them than to walk away  Victory #2: As we grow in Christ we all must face the seasons where God takes us out of our comfort zone for growth. With all the spooky and chilling festivities going on throughout the month of October, just remember that we need to be the light shining in the darkness, AMEN! BFF: Best Family Forever #3It looks like Howard the sheep’s surprise “Meow Party” is in full swing, all the neighborhood pet cats are having a good time. And Howard appears to be enjoying the party too in spite of not being an actual cat. Thank goodness cake makes everything better! And Clyde sits Howard at the head of the table to get served first. Exiting the kitchen in delight was surprisingly Howard’s sheep family and friends bringing out not a birthday cake but fresh cut grass served on a platter! Wow, this surprise “Meow Party” is actually a surprise! Perhaps Clyde was listening to Howard tell him he is not a cat after all. True Love of Family always comes through even when it’s least expected.  BFF #5: Family is a place of trust and acceptance.  BFF #6: Family is a place where you forgive and should be forgiven.
